Florin pursued his curiosity for beer during the COVID pandemic, a period that gave him time to explore his passion for beer history, styles, and how they present themselves across today's globalised brewing world. That curiosity quickly became something more formal: a BJCP certification and a seat at the judging table.

He judged in local and international competitions such as the Hong Kong International Beer awards and in several Annual Hong Kong Homebrew competitions. Driven by a belief that there is always more to learn, more to taste, and more to share, he brings curiosity and respect for the craft to every panel he sits on.
