Co‑founder of Hidden Gem Beer
Kevin Wong is an experienced craft beer enthusiast who has explored an extensive range of beer styles — from hoppy IPAs and funky lambics to bold barrel‑aged stouts. He is the co‑founder of Hidden Gem Beer and has been a Recognized BJCP beer judge since 2020.
Over the years, Kevin has judged at major competitions including the Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Competition (HKIWSC) and the Hong Kong Homebrew Competition, bringing fairness, insight, and a deep appreciation for brewing to every panel.
He continues his lifelong journey of discovering and tasting the world’s finest beers, driven by curiosity, respect for tradition, and a love of innovation in brewing.

The China Beer Competition boasts of having the most highly qualified and trained panel of Beer buyers and Beer experts who are based in mainland China.
As the mission and philosophy of the China Beer Competition is to award Beers by quality, value and package for the China market, all our judges are from mainland China who understands the Chinese palate.
The goal, quite simply, is to gain cross-industry recognition for Beers that Chinese consumers actually want to drink.
